Please give a moment of silence....
My beautiful talking cat is no more... He died last week's saturday, due to infected cut.
I guess because of his beautiful coat of fur and his big size, I can say that all female cats adored him. He fought of any cat and and foe that came to his territory. I guessed he might have come in contact with this Manggar Perahu (a mammal that eats the head and insides of poultry and house pets) that made a deep cut under his chin straight up to the head. The wound got infected until filled with maggots and 2 weeks after that my mom found him dead.
I really would like someone to catch that bastard Manggar Perahu for killing my precious Dabus!

Something quite like this happened to me last week when I was busy doing my work in the silence of my room at the office. This bird suddenly banged onto the window and sat static on the balcony with transparent stars and birds around its head

My sister's wedding Part 2
|
|
This time off we went to the groom's side of the feast. A bus and 6 cars headed off to Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor. Thanks to Cik Ros and family, our group had a place to rest and refresh.
This time it was a bit special. The night before, I planned with my younger sister to "renjis-renjis" the newlyweds but then I forgot that I was the bridesmaid. Oh damn... So, we cancelled our plan.
Then, during the ceremony, my lil sis with our cousins came forward and "renjis-renjis" the newlyweds!
I was sooooo jealous.
By the way, we (the "pengapits"), lost our fans before the ceremony. Thus, during our roleplay, we just stand there as Pak and Mak pacak. Hahahaa....

My sister finally got married...
Her ceremony was held on 19th May 2007.
"Majlis bermula dengan acara bersalin pakaian oleh pengantin perempuan. Baju yang dipamerkan ialah baju songket perak dihias bersama sanggul lintang, baju kimono emas, dan juga pakaian India. Malangnya, foto-foto tersebut tidak dapat disiarkan atas permintaan pengantin perempuan dan lelaki demi menjaga aurat pengantin wanita daripada terdedah kepada khalayak ramai. Pertandingan karaoke inter-rumah-rumah-dalam-Blok-15 juga berlangsung pada malam yang sama di mana pengantin perempuan telah dijemput untuk menganugerahkan hadiah kepada pemenang-pemenang utama. Syabas diucapkan kepada pemenang-pemenang.
Kemudian, pasangan pengantin ini dinikahkan pada pukul 11.30 pagi keesokan harinya iaitu pada 19 Mei 2007. Ini diikuti dengan upacara persandingan dan merenjis pada pukul 1.30 petang.
Majlis ini dilaporkan meriah menurut Cik Kiah dan konco-konconya yang menyaksikan khemah telah dikerumuni orang seawal pukul 11 pagi. Nasi dilaporkan tidak cukup pada seketika di waktu hampir tengah hari di mana 15 gantang lagi nasi telah dimasak kerana 15 gantang nasi yang dimasak pada sebelah pagi dilaporkan habis  .
Majlis berakhir pada pukul 3 petang ketika tetamu terakhir kami, Dato' Lillah (speaker Jempol) dan isteri telah hadir sebagai menghormati undangan rakan sekolahnya iaitu bonda pengantin (dari Form 1-Form 5 kat Batu Kikir diikuti Form 6 di Tunku Durah) dan juga ayahanda pengantin (Form 6 di Tunku Durah).
Terima kasih diucapkan pada hadirin hadirat yang telahpun hadir."
At that time, my sister teased me, "Angah, this time you'll be my pengapit. You know how the old saying goes when you become someone's pengapit? It just means that you'll be married soon..."
Yeah... I wish that was true, thus, I am now accepting applications from all eligible bachelors who wish to have a wife who can tidy-up and decorate your place nicely, take care of your cat(s) but cannot cook well... Still learning maaa... They said wives usually learn to cook after they got married... So please send your application to be my guinea (pigs? Not so cute) bears...Ahaks...

At last, a first entry for 2006

I lost my Cybershot 7.2 MP, so back to my old camera. I hope I can find a weekend from my busy schedule to search the whole house for it.
I went to Cairns, Australia early April this year for a meeting, followed by a trip to Penang to visit a trial site then followed by 55 minutes flight to Singapore for a training then a trip to Kenyir 8 days after that for a 3-day Employee Day trip.
Aahh...what a month. I need rest, please.

The nikah was held on August 27th 5pm while the wedding's feast was held on August 28th 2005. It was a simple Malay wedding attended by more than 600 people (from the reservations made for food. I didn't exactly count them all myself).
